16/2/ · Ok, I just tried connecting with another computer and it hangs at "Logging in" every time. It could be just me hanging at "Downloading terrain" since I didn't verify with other users. So every user hangs at "Logging in", and I (running on the server machine) hang at "Downloading terrain". Edit: Yes, client and server are newest version 26/9/ · Right so, whenever I try to join hypixel, and hypixel only it allows me to log in (in the loading screen) but after that it stays on "downloading terrain" for around 15 seconds and gives me "Timed out" screen, I turned off my antivirus, tried without optifine, without forge, with forge, reinstalled all minecraft versions and deleted server texture packs 6/5/ · When that other person was experiencing it last night I had them come with me to 3 different servers and 2 different servers. On all of the servers they had to wait between 10 and 20 seconds at the downloading terrain screen. On both of the servers they were able to join instantly, less than a second delay

Just today when I tried to join I get stuck on loading terrain for a couple minutes, and then I time out and have to try again. I have reinstalled minecraft, minecraft downloading terrain timed out, restarted my computer, restarted my router and modem, installed my latest graphics drivers, and messed with every minecraft setting I can think to.

It maxes out my CPU usage, and I have a quad core 4 GHz CPU. After it finally finishes, I can't get any drops from blocks that I break or open any containers except for the Inventory
